Bkt tyres any good ?

reliance are a real budget tyre
Just put 4 new BKT on the jcb and they seem really good quality

Went with verdistein in the end

Nobody has mentioned CEAT - same price as BKT but with 7 year warranty.

Our local tyre place are recommending CEAT because BKT won't rectify any faults.

Agricultural tyre specialist we buy off has had plenty of pictures of CEAT tyres on their FB page but I'm yet to see or use any. Would be interested to know how they are doing

Are they not the old continental tyres rebranded? If so they were about the worst tyre I ever fitted.

We have a set of Mitas contact contract or something on a New Holland, any way the old Continental tyres and they seem fine.

Use BKT on ours
Replaced the shite blebby Goodyears on the big tractor JD8530 no problem pulling with them (so far)
Others do the roadwork without problem

Exactly the same experience, changed Goodyear 600/65R38 for 580/70R38 BKT's, MF 6475, could spin to a stop on tarmac , never had a problem with the Goodyear's. Same tanker, same hill! Do believe that the 65 range of BKT's are better than the 70's and 85.

Due to a nasty sidewall rip on a Michelin, I've now got a BKT and a Michelin 620/70R42 on the back of the same tractor. I really can't say that there's any difference in their respective performance. It's done its share of taker hauling up slippery hills this summer and both sides seemed to slip equally. Both are fairly new and new tyres slip more than fairly well worn tyres [up to a point] in that situation.
