We will be every Bit as steep as you but no flint.. we do run on plenty of steep crushed rock on road surfacing jobs tho. The fastrac has stopped, spinning on sharp rock with 20 Ton loads plenty of times.. the Michelin certainly have stood up very well so far.I’m guessing your not loading a 165hp tractor on 520 tyres down with 5x18 furrows or 4m combi and front press and expecting it to plough and drill steep banks on the wolds ?
Drilling it’s rare it comes off 100% engine load and front press has to be a carried a bit uphill or will grind to a halt pretty quickly with all 4 wheels spinning?
Yes it needs wider tyres and will get them once these are done. And yes a bigger tractor wouldn’t hurt at times but this one does bloody well all things considered.
