24/10/20 we are spending week in Scotland near fort William.
Where will be selling lambs or blackie feeding ewes.i want 200 to graze over winter and want to buy some while I’m up there??

If they're coming off hard hill, don't dump them straight into lush grass - you'll kill them. They need to acclimatise

Buy the Scottish Farmer to give you dates and numbers . Fort william has its own small auction . For numbers of lambs and ewes i would probably go to Stirling , bit less haulage !!

Vaccinate as soon as you get them, the stress of moving etc can kill them by the dozen. Learned this the hard way

Yes old ewes will die on good grass, especially buy that time of year from around that Area.

Overall quality of blackie in Stirling is stronger too. I feed plenty from higher up but strongest lambs tend too come from UA

No I decided against it in the end.
Iv put a couple off hundred grazing ewes together from local marts
