Got a few ewes that have gone blind for a few different reasons but all in good condition etc. what have people done in the past? Cull on farm? Guessing most marts wouldn't want them through the ring

Is it not something like pink eye that you can treat and they'll recover from?

Only ever had one that was 'untreatably blind' - eyes looked perfect but it just couldn't see 🤷‍♂️

Took it to a small local slaughterhouse, walked it quietly in and they killed it straight away.

Got a big blind ewe, this will be her 3rd lamb this year, gets about, never fallen in a ditch, follows the other ewes round the fields, got ears like a bat though...there's no sneaking up to catch her. Bright blind, didn't react well to closantel on her first fluke dose. She'll die on the farm hopefully when she's alot older
