Has anyone found their spreader turning off too soon when coming into the headland , Especially when coming in square? Seems to be perfect turning on song turning off at angled headlands.

Yes, it is the only fault i have with Bogballe. Problem is the distance behind the fertiliser spreads, once you hit the headband tramline it has to turn off but leaves an under dosed piece. Only remedy i have is to alternate direction on subsequent application IYSWIM so that the outs become ins and vice versa.

You can get an idea of just how far back product spreads when you notice the switch on point when coming into work. I always thought it was switching on too late but it seems to be set correctly.

I'm pretty sure you can go into the screen and adjust the timings to turn off and on. We are running our spinner through a Claas s 10 and having no problems. We were told the thing with a KRM is that they spread alot closer to the back of the machine so it would turn off quicker at the headlands. The problem we had with the Vicon before is you had to go past the tramline before it would turn off.

I often wonder if mine turns on late, it changes on the screen but if you watch the shutter there is a delay. I tend to start a little slower and speed up but not due if that helps. Am going to have another look at the tractor settings it’s an isobus machine

Are you sure about that spreading closer to the back of the machine? It is the complete opposite in my experience.

I can confirm it’s better than the alternative, my Amazon zats drop point for nitram was around 30m, I notice the section control under doses grassland on the way out with the Krm, much better than the Amazone thoughwhich just made a fking mess
