Have had a call this morning from someone claiming to be from Standard Life insurance informing me of a change to the way my policies are paid and not to worry it can very easily be done over the phone . It would involve a card payment for the first month premium and then the rest by DD.
He was quite persistent even though I have no policy with them !!!

I put this up just for everyone to be aware

Couple of weeks ago i had a txt from a mobile type number saying my ee direct debit wasnt working and if i didnt want extra charges i should click the link in the txt. Quick google search showed it to be a common scam. Yesterday on the home phone scammers rang up to say i had just spent £300 on a visa card and i should wait to speak to an adviser to cancel it. Bas#ards must cause alot of elderly people alot of stress and worry.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
