Brexit is destroying Britain

I think many are being a bit thoughtless when it comes to these environments. Surely by now office working can be managed in such a manner that the work is accomplished in a safe manner and the staff feel comfortable in being there?

Most of the western world has a shortage of drivers and fuel problems. I'm not sure that Brexcit caused those issues....
There is a general shortage of Labour in many countries, Brexit has made the problem worse in the UK. to think otherwise is just burying your head in the sand. When you cut off one of your sources of labour and they are either sent home or go home because they no longer feel welcome then it seems quite obvious that there will be a shortage.
We have a similar problem here with closing the borders, the back packer fraternity can no longer come to work, this has a couple of outcomes, the younger generation are denied the experience of working and living in another country and the country they were hoping to work in has a severe labour shortage.

Yes, Brexit is part of the reason that the UK is short of labour, if you tell a portion of the workforce that they are no longer wanted then you will be short. I'm surprised so many miss the obvious. The closure of our borders to student labour should have helped the UK situation, the ones not here picking our fruit can still be available to pick veg in the UK.

Bollox ,,,,,,,,,, we gave 5,5 million people settled status , what's the population of NZ ?

Right it was 2.75 m for people resident for 5 years or more ,

6 million applied , one of the most accepting nations in the world ,
We want workers not freeloaders , got enough of our own in that category

So every single one of the overseas workers you had gained settled status and none went home? I find that very hard to believe.

Population of NZ is 5 million.
The seasonal and students went back , we couldn't go on subbing families in Poland because the husband or wife worked in the UK no other country does

I edited my post , sorry
If 6 million applied for settled status that would be the number of overseas workers that were in the UK, 2.75 million were granted settled status leaving the UK 3.25 million potential workers short, some of the 3.25 million would have no intention of working so lets say half of them, this still leaves the UK around 1.6 million workers short.

It would appear that our shortfall is being made up from illegals who have no intention of seeking gainfull employment.Just adding to the nations tax burden, and problems down the line for our children.
