While we are on the subject- has anyone got any randolf semen they want to sell?
I used a lot of that bullForty years ago where I worked at weekends while still at school, he was calving heifers by a bull called Saham Grey Glide, don't think I've ever seen anything to match those, if I could have a wish come true, I'd have a herd of them.

Why not look at small holsteins like Laurelhill classic and what do you intend to do with the next cross
Used some mc cormick here on beefy friesian typesHave been using small Holsteins for last couple years manifold, McCormick tiergans etc but had notion to use some Friesian on the more extreme cows, Chad and Quentin in the tank this week
Milking some 3rd lactation Consuls, the best fore udder attachment you will see in a Friesian.Milking winnoch umpire and winnoch officer daughters at the moment as well as a few Deangate Tarquin daughters and a few by Moet melody out of some fatty Friesian cows. Got some calves by Deangate consul looking great and serving heifer to consul still and serving best cows also to consul, or they get Lakemead Jingle. Then any cows that don't hold after 3 or 4 serves to jingle get fert plus easy calved or fert plus blue
My oldest where born last September and haven't had any problems so far. Have had 8 cows so far calve to him and had 8 heifer calves and one bull( one set of twin heifers) so seems to be throwing a high number of heifer calves so thought I would carry on using him. Calves are very black in colour so guessing he is a very black bull but can't find a photo of him.Milking some 3rd lactation Consuls, the best fore udder attachment you will see in a Friesian.
