I have bought some kit off i Bidder and have got on ok. It saves taking time away from work and you can view lots when convenient to you.I guess they are cheaper for the vendor also.I hope they do not replace the on site sales altogether as they can be agood laugh though the last sale I went to was not that well attended as there are just fewer and fewer farmers around and those that are have shiny big kit on the never never

Does anyone else think these online auction are going to spell the end of a good old fashioned traditional farm dispersal sale.what are your thoughts @carbonfibre farmer?
I bloody hope not! What am I going to do in my spare (and not so spare) time......?

Another avenue for sellers and buyer's.

There will always be a place for them but they could very easily become more of a rarity and fewer and further between. Less overhead's for a auction firm.

Is it going to be the same as the discussion between magazines and the internet? That there is a place for both but the power of the net pushes the printed magazines into a niche?

A similar scenario............

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
