The other side to the coin is that the neighbour is a "decent bloke" with whom you have to rub along for X years to come.
Annoy him and it may affect any planning developments you may have in mind
I would otherwise agree
but on second thoughts could actually be the neighbour that sold him the dodgy hay:oops: Lol.

Agent came to me a few years back with a great oppertunity to help the local community receive high speed internet from their cable. Wanted to trench close on 2 miles along the roadside edge of my fields for 250$. On listening to his chatter it was going a foot deep and I would have been liable if it was broken. Also I’d have pay any losses incurred from service outage. He got laughed at but came back three times to try to guilt me into allowing the cable. Still no cable lol.
