Buckrake to dung fork

Thinking of turning a Twose buckrake into a push off muck fork mounted on pin and cone brackets to make loading quicker when loading trailers and spreader, any reasons why this wouldn’t work ? Cheers

The buckrake bottom frame most probably will not be strong enough to be used as a muckfork and especially not on a telehandler. I will hazard a guess that the bottom frame will only have conus 1 sized bushes.

In the 1950's there was a push off muck fork on the Ferguson banana loader which was a good tool but it was well made, I doubt buckrake would be up to the job

Thanks for all the reply’s did think of shortening the times as they would be too long at the moment so that would reduce lots of stress

Used to use a Wylie buckrake on a 290 with no cab to clean out loose houses with low doors, worked ok though it wouldn't have the lifting power of a forklift, I reckon crowding back would be the killer. Don't think it would be any quicker than a grab cleaning out a shed, might be quicker loading out of a midden though if the dung had time to breakdown a bit.

Would be mainly loading in the field rotted down muck into spreader if I do do it
