Business Proposal

I was a weird kid and started weird topics when I joined to TFF about 4-5 years ago and I thought I got normal as I got older but seem like still I am not.

Actually I have many "weird" business plans but I would like to ask especially one of them to sheepfarmer society here;

If I would buy ewes in high numbers (really high) and give them to you, want you to give me one sheep every year, would you accept it ? I will also meet the half of the ewe expenses (feed and health expenses) and full expenses of the sheep which you will give me. Your profit will be one of the twin lambs. I want my one sheep for ever, you cant quit the agreement as long as you can breath. Would you accept it ?

Are you not already the bonded serf of money ? This is a perfect offer, considering a sheep breed with high twin rate and able to lamb every 8 months, your profit will be two lambs every year and I am not talking about "hundreds" but "thousands", maybe more...

I'm free to do whatever I want to make money. I'm entering into an agreement for life with anyone.

Where are you going to keep these sheep? What you going to feed them?

Only a few breeds can lamb every 8 months on a strict Cornell system and from what I’ve heard they don’t scan more than 1.5 each time and their pretty worn out within a few years.....

Hypothetically speaking, impossible.

It's number of lambings a ewe lasts which is important, rather than time.

But a ewe lambing a 1.5 every 8 months (3 times in 2 years) will produce more lambs over 6 years than a ewe lambing once a year at 2.0 lambs.

Even if you are going to profit 0.25 lamb/ewe/year, it is still a perfect offer because you will have soo much ewes that most sheepfarm companies could not reach in these numbers ever.

Give me ten thousand ewes and I’ll give you back one lamb per year? That sounds like a deal, please sign me up.

I’ll plan to sell the 10,000 for £100 each (making me £1M) and then buy a lamb (£50) a year to pass back to you from the interest. I won’t even charge you any costs, mainly because I won’t be having any.

Not sure what’s in it for you though...

Okay, I am not interested with details, I just want my one sheep per ewe every year.

If you've got that much cash burning a hole in your pocket, I'd reckon, even with the current price of lamb, they'd be better things you could invest in than sheep - just sayin' :whistle:.

PS. Is there a lot of money sloshing around in Turkey at the moment?
I see the Turkish army pension fund has been trying to buy British Steel.
