I had some left over from this yrs contract ( the grass grew) so it was rolled over. And we did it quite early I suppose. Wheat feed and soya hulls

You've some hardcore cows, I've tried wf and sh in parlour and it wasn't popular, not tried mixed, not keen to either

I tried one load of wheat feed a couple of years ago and it probably added an hour to each milking until it was gone. The cows were definitely not impressed.

They do definitely one in faster for the winter blend. But exit slower as they look in every bin. Doesn’t happen with the spring.
like I have said previously around 10% aren’t fussed with it. The rest eat it fine. And milk well.

I would agree, luckily we have 2x 15T bind so I was able to get it at roughly 50% with regular 14%nut

You'd think that's a strong argument in the environmental area, that all your other feeds are home grown ish. But folk hear Soya and think you've flung a match into the rainforest. But that's what we've got to work with these days. Counter arguments seem wasted, youve just to adapt and tow the line.
