We use for farmers Vita Milk rearer. Looking to try volac next year as it will be easier to source if we don't need a whole pallet for the last of the calves. Also I found it comes in 25kg bags not 20kg, being easier to milx in the milk kart as I won't be needed to use 5kg from another bag. Ours are all beef calves brought in at 1-2 weeks old, from the same holding.
work on the principle, the dearer the better, even though in most other cases of farm goods, the opposite may apply. The other point to bear in mind, is the feeding instructions on the bag, haven't changed for decades, but calves have, so it may pay to take advice on 'amounts to feed' from an expert.
