calf with bloat

20 weeks old came last week so change of diet to TMR cant stop him blowing up ,have let down with hosepipe,three times, but getting intrusive, have dosed with 100 ml veg oil ,and bicarb of soda,next option is a RED DEVIL,any other homebrew solutions too try or just stab ASAP.

Perhaps put him on hay and a handful of pellets, then turn him out on some poor grass when the time comes ,and hope he grows away from it. Sometimes if they've had pneumonia as a calf , scarring on the oesophagus can stop the belching and cud chewing reflex.
