I'm very pleased with mine, my second one. Very reliable, has cost damned all in repairs as yet, very comfortable, oodles of power and a competitive price. My first one was the same, and I only changed it as I wanted power steering.

I can think of no reason why I'd look closely at any other makes when it comes to changing again.

I would thoroughly recommend them, I had a 400 and it was the best bike I ever had. Would still have one now if it hadn't been nicked. Went down the diesel UTV route after that but I'm half tempted to go back to a petrol can am UTV, if they made a diesel I'd buy one tomorrow.

Gas conversion?

On my 2nd. Very happy with the bike and it's features and capabilities. Lovely bike to ride. Some of my minor gripes with the 1st bike have been addressed with the 'pro' model I have now - uprated suspension and stronger seat cover being main ones. I like to keep my bike fairly new so depreciation is the 1 unknown atm. 1st model looked very cheap compared to Honda but 570 pro was about same money as Honda 500 auto with irs.

Outlander 500l with electric steering here.

Absolutely brilliant.

Handles better than any other, with a more than gorgeous amount of power from the silky smooth V twin rotax engine.

Decent proportioned load racks with best in class load capacity.

Ride comfort is astonishingly good, rivaled only by the Suzuki 500 (I have one of those too). Suzuki is slightly better over knobbly small disturbance ground such as fist sized rock, probably due to the tyre pressures being about half that which can am recommends, but the Suzuki lacks the same poise over larger undulating ground, and it'll lift a wheel long before the can am is anywhere near running out of suspension travel.

The Suzuki was bought for my (73 year old) mother because she prefers the seating position to the can am.

Comparing can am ride comfort and handling to Honda, Kawasaki or even Yamaha is like comparing a modern fully sprung mountain bicycle to a penny farthing (I've tried them all).

Unless your farm is flat, smooth, you never exceed 5mph, and you're only about 5 foot nothing, then you want a can am.

I've got a 570 pro, loads of power, plenty of engine braking, very comfortable (even after a couple hours riding) pretty good mpg and it looks great. The hand guards on the pro are very good this time of year keeping the wind off and with the heated grips only the coldest of days need gloves.
You might not like the gear select, it is stiff compared to other males but you just need to be firm with it and you soon get the hang of it.
The same can be said about pulling away, you only need to be gentle with the throttle otherwise it'll shoot off from under you! When I've ridden Suzuki or Honda a lot of the time the throttle is up against the stop even just riding around checking sheep where as on the Can Am I rarely hit the stop and still ride fast.
I wouldn't want to change to any other make that's for sure.
