Seen a fair few Caravan Club members only small sites on my travels so it must be worth it if you have a spare bit of space for 5 or 6. Pitch is around £6-£9 a night + £6 per adult & £2 kids..... family of 4 around £25 a night...

Unless you have relations in the less pleasant caravanning community and they can knock up a 40 pitch over a bank holiday weekend.

Best place for caravans is on top gear getting blown up.if you like dealing with the moaning public, barking dogs, screaming kids etc then fine. Then they tend to leave you with all their rubbish to deal with, burn anything that aint fastened down, yeah easy money

thats certinly not the impression i got from the caravans where i worked , i never seen any rubbish left blowing around

If you just want to mow a field and have a few cc members who don't want electric hook ups and toilets, all they want is a pitch and a cold running water tap,it'll probably pay for your phone bill.Like anything if you want to jump through council hoops and planning etc it takes cash investment and constant up keep and further investment I'm afraid

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
