I am now at my heaviest ever, and need to lose some. I have had a few friends recommend these carb free diets. Any Tips?
Sounds worse than manflu.Get this flu, strep A bug. I lost 10kg.
I don't smoke, nor drink much. I walk 2 or 3 miles most days with the dogs, but I used to swim 2 or 3 miles a week prior to lockdown. I do need to get back in that pool.Eat less, do more.
If you dont want to be here again soon avoid any kind of "diet" and prioritise
"Making a lifelong change to my lifestyle"
Becoming healthy is like quitting cigs, booze, heroin. Once you're on the wagon you must hang on for dear life - everyday.
Good luck
Carb free is hard,a glass of milk, slice of bread,2 bananas will blow your daily carb totalI don't smoke, nor drink much. I walk 2 or 3 miles most days with the dogs, but I used to swim 2 or 3 miles a week prior to lockdown. I do need to get back in that pool.
Soup and bread will just make you very hungry within 2-3 hoursI wouldn’t necessarily go on a specific type of diet, I don’t think it would last and you may be worse off on the long run. Just think carefully about what you eat throughout the day. At this time of year try a large bowl of soup and one piece of bread at lunch, porridge for breakfast, If you eat puddings try cutting them out. Fruit at coffee/tea breaks instead of cake/biscuits Carbs yes try to just have a bit less. It’s not easy though as you will feel hungry. Get a bike….
I did say it won’t be easy as you will feel hungry…Soup and bread will just make you very hungry within 2-3 hours
Your stomach gets used to your diet and you crave what your used to eating, it takes a while to change that

Yes i doYou don't even need to lose weight!
I have been using the 5:2 diet and trying to cut down a bit on the Carbs and chocolate (and seed or veggie oils), the important thing is not BMI but waist measurement, for a man it needs to be under 37" and if you look round the mart, there aren't many who would qualify!
