Wonder if that's because, at 95hp the engine is very under stressed whereas a 1056 will have had a bit more taken out before it received the TB trreatmentDid the 956/ 1056 have different engines ,was chatting with mike stokes about this other day 956 stood turbo better he had 6/7 out to Richard longs But I would prefer 3120 Or dig deep and buy a 6280/90
Mechanical shuttle, needs clutching.do the 3120 have some kind of shuttle?
No they have a gear stick with just forward neutral and reverse but it's not a problem to me I drive one on the bedder everyday maybe a bit sad on a loader but normal work will be finedo the 3120 have some kind of shuttle?
thats not to bad! better then the IH there is a possibility it might get a loader at some point maybeNo they have a gear stick with just forward neutral and reverse but it's not a problem to me I drive one on the bedder everyday maybe a bit sad on a loader but normal work will be fine
well that would be a big help! if it gets a loadergear levers on the right, have seen such tractors with loader joystick on left. Forward and reverse speeds are the same though not like IH
have a 956 myself would'nt be a tractor i would put a loader on,reverse is too slow in any gear.thats not to bad! better then the IH there is a possibility it might get a loader at some point maybe
ive driven one with a loader not ideal at all would do for all we would be doing though!have a 956 myself would'nt be a tractor i would put a loader on,reverse is too slow in any gear.
Find a 955XL & you have a rare tractor.
nope2wd wouldn't work for what we need!Have you found a 1056?
G m Stephenson have a 2wd 1255 I was told once there were only 2 in the country, but it can't be.
Same here, but she looks a honeynope2wd wouldn't work for what we need!
Our neighbour used to plough with a 2wd 1255xl with a 5 furrow kv on the back. Always amused me when ploughing. His man would get to the end, stop, lift plow up then stand on one of the independents and spin it round on one wheel. then drop plough and away, Usually with rear wheels spinnnng wildly. Never did know why he didn't get something 4wd for that job as it must have been ploughing 4-500 acres a year.Have you found a 1056?
