Hi I’m going to look at a case cvx 1190 tomorrow is there any way checking if the transmission is good on it. there is about 11000 hours on her.

I had one from 2005-2008 and it went through 3 transmissions in that time. No easy way to tell. They just go.

Hydrostats usually fail with no warning so it's basically impossible to check.

Put it in to park with cold oil if it seems sluggish knock some more money off just in case !! . good tractor though. Also put it in 4wd with door open and lock to lock when moving to check front axle for knocks.
