Case CVX speed limted is this an issue

Hello to all I have a 2001 Case CVX 130 and I have just repaired the ECU and got it all working , I got the tractor with a missing ECU so its been a bit of hit and miss , all up and running now , the only thing I would like to know is there a reason why the highway speed is limited to 25 klms per hour , if I encounter a hill the revs pickup things change down but speed stays constant at 25 cannot get it to go any faster is there an issue or perhaps a way of selecting a highway mode perhaps ? dont have an operators manual so I,m flying blind a bit any help would be great
All the software was updated yesterday and each computer sorted no fault codes looking good so far runs really nice just this limited speed is it in limp mode I wonder , but if so would it still rev over 2000 rpm

Now then, i know next to nothing about a tractor that old, but it seems like your tractor is on a field range/limited range. On newer Cvx's atleast there is three "ranges" each of which can be limited to any speed. Our lowest range is 15km/h middle range 25km/h and 3rd range 50km/h.

Does it have a rabbit/turtle button anywhere? Or a speed setting wheel.

Its not stuck in B range is it ? as b range is limited to 25k

I dont have an operators manual so I cannot find it and so far have not seen a rabbit/turtle or creeper gear button , if I could find one I am guessing thats whats going on
everything else seems to be running fine , never owned a Case before so its a matter of trying all the buttons I guess

Will be a rocker switch on the right looks after range changes, will be yellow kinda.

Alternatively there is a button on the back of the joystick, hold it & push the +button on the front of the joystick to go up ranges & the - to go down, screen on pillar should tell you where you are gear wise & cruise speeds.

This is what I dont know, its certainly regulated speed for sure, and I have clicked just about every button and switch I can get the cruise mode working, 4wd, suspension, etc its just this bloody max speed thats doing my head in and I cannot for the life of me find a operators manual as I would gladly buy one , I have a Class 446 rx and its easy the 2 speed is in the shifter knob this case im still trying to work out GRRRRRRRR

Nah I'm still trying if I hold the button on the front of the knob all it seems to do is engage the cruise mode wish I could get a handbook for this machine tried everywhere will even see if case have one on Tuesday

Shouldn’t be, cruise button is the bottom one in the pic, top worn off it.

Range change is the back button held and the plus tapped to go up (finger) or - to go down.

Pillar reading, arrow on right shows we are in third or top range ( 0 to 50k )

Ours is an 1170 but can’t be that different.

Another thought is it’s in limp home mode, tho according to the book that is limited to 8K but worth ruling it out all the same.

That’s in the panel under the steering wheel.

Ok update flicked every button known to man and then tried the console buttons again
Ok well looks like its working turns out the + button on the arm rest did what seemed like nothing but the - button changed the system and away we went now easily does 50+ klms thats going to make getting from place to place so much easier
