Cattle handling project

well after 2 years we finally finished ours the day before our 4 yearly TB test....curved race and forcing pen purchased by IAE all the penning gates and barriers made by us when we had spare time...it’s taken 2 years but glad it’s done...

Very smart, and envious. How many cattle did you test and how long did it take? Did you get and problems with smaller/younger animals turning in it. I’d be tempted by a roof over the crush area where you work. Clipping cattle etc in the rain is no fun.

Very Nice job that is I’m very envious.
Only thing I can say is do the hinges not need pinning Incase one try’s to get a head under anything and lift it of the hinge end

But still it’s a nice setup (y)

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
