Looking for a mobile race with the Farm Business Grant

spec needs to include a head yoke and a rump bar and be road legal

im just after a simple crush to weigh cattle more than anything, doesn't need to be fancy

any recommendations?
Thanks

I’ve looked at these for years and always been shy of the cost of them.
Best one I’ve seen was made by Thomas Ball. I might have that name wrong

For what they are the prices are unbelievable i think, plus they know most are 40% grant funded
Thomas Ball doesn’t bring anything in google!
I will have a look and find out if that’s the right name im not sure it is.
I looked at them at the Yorkshire show years ago in detail and his had more metal in them and were a good design. Many of the others looked good but our cattle would wreck them. @jendan will vouch for this

I bought a Bateman one on the grant scheme with the weigh platform. Only used it a few times so far but been very impressed with it . Think it was around 13k before the grant. Also has the built in chin scoop.

Make sure you have the race specced to build a pen at the front of race as well if possible, at the time bateman didn't have this on but built it on to our spec

It’s had a lot of though it,and still looks smart only thing bent is one of the pen gates pin and that was a neighbour borrowing it and not opening the gates properly.Ours can be towed by a tractor and has gates that fold open to make a pen.The front crush part has gates that open top and bottom on the sides if needed, doors either side half way along to close one section off and a sliding door to divide back part to front.Head stock, and crush bars for head control and tail bar. What amazing me is how calm the cattle are once in the pen and then the crush.

Another vote for Bateman.
Wardmans must enjoy this grant job :) .
