Mount it under the fridge run the lead out and mount the aerial either on the beacon holder or the rear light cluster can run the power and earth down the inside of the pillar power direct to a spare fuse and earth to the earth point that’s located behind the ignitionLooking for some advice on where to put a cb radio in a 7600 Massey Ferguson cab. Also where to mount the aerial
How would you attach it to the roofI say the same as lofty. Under the fridge in corner. One of my tractors has a mag mount aerial and other mounted on the wing mirror. Mag mount aerial works a lot better.
Aw alright thanksIf you mean the mag mount? The hatch on the roof top is metal
Yeah that would be greatIf you like I’ll take a pic of how mines mounted in the morning
I mount my cb and mic in the same place, but run the mic lead through the first air vent and out of the next, keeps it. Out of the wayI couldn’t cope with it there the lead swaying in my eyeline would fry me after a hour
Sorry to hijack this but does anyone have any solutions to using a cb in these modern tractors without all the interference from the electrics on them ?
