Must be thick, tested continuity on the cable it's ok . Tried a mag mount in the middle of the cab on the RTK metal plate the reading is still well in the red zone but a little lower. :scratchhead:

I ran an earth cable down to the battery when I fitted mine as I didn't want to scratch the paint off, it seems to work ok. Does this give the antenna the earth it needs or could it be better?

Sadly not.... The market was getting harder and the rules and regs were making it increasingly difficult to get the cattle killed, and then cut and delivered. :(

Sold the herd off a few years ago, then had a sabbatical from cows, but like so many, it just didn't feel right without some cattle about... So a few Hex coos and calves wandering about... (y)
