I noticed an advertisement for Central-Boiler Ltd, an outdoor wood burning central heating boiler and wondered if anyone has one/knows of any. The importing firm is based in Essex and the boilers are from the USA.
I wonder what the difference is between a straw burner system and this wood burning system. There is no mention of price in the advertisement or on the website, but I guess it is high. But then, oil is getting high too.
The gallery of customers' installations shows several large farmhouses, even stately homes. Of course, burning wood isn't free, there is a lot of labour involved and although there is plenty of wood around at the moment there will come a point when the trees will have to be replanted - depends on how long the boiler lasts too, I suppose.
