Did he know you can change the settings on the suspension [emoji848] just press and hold the button and it comes up on side pillar to change settings

We tried that on a demo tractor, was on the softest setting, still hard.
Strange thing is that on our old 125 maxxum the front suspension was great almost as good as our double wishbone fendt, it just seams on the latest machines they have gone backwards.

Here comes a little update if anyone finds the weights interesting…

I ended up buying a Puma 175 CVX, which is the high hp SWB model Puma nowadays.

It has a very high spec, including front links with PTO and 600/65R28, 650/75R38, 4 rear spools, 2 in the front.

The dealer told me that the weight probably would not exceed 7000 kg with my spec, at least that was what
he could find in his info. So today I ran it over a weighbridge, and guess what… it was alot heavier than he thought.
It actually seems like they are adding mot weight to every year model nowadays if you compare to other weights
mentioned earlier in the thread.

Anyways, my 2019 Puma 175 CVX weighed in at 8480 kg with pretty much full tanks... so todays tractors really are heavier!

Very nice and all the best with it!(y)

What’s with the cylindrical object sticking out on the rear wheel?

Good work. That is a hell of a steed. You won't know yourself after an MX170! I spent a lot of time in an MX170 and a lot of time in various Pumas, the difference is night and day. The MX might have had a lovely engine for its day but the transmission was a bit pants and the ride was rough compared to the Puma.

Did you have to specify down to get 38 inch rears instead of 42 inch wheels?

Like Pingu wrote before its more of an up in spec than a down. I want the 650/75 38s as I run a 8 row mounted maizedrill which is quite heavy and the these tyres can handle a bit more load.

Thanks!

It is an adaptor for fitting duals. It's a really nice design, with just one centre bolt to hold them. Has worked really good for 15 years now, and it takes me just under 5 minutes to get the duals on by myself!

Does it stop the paint on the rims getting marked/ worn off like stocks duals do?

Yes, the duals have got an identical cylinder mounted… you just put the dual in place, make sure the teeth connect and tighten the centre bolt! The only worn off paint is in where the teeth are in the cylinder.
