Clive Bailye is pleased to announce that he has acquired all of the shares owned by his fellow founding shareholder, Jake Withecombe, in Agri Web Media Limited, the company that owns The Farming Forum (TFF).

The Farming Forum was launched in February 2013. Since that time, both TFF and the business have grown substantially. TFF is widely recognised for representing the views of people engaged in agriculture in the UK and beyond.

Under his sole ownership, Clive Bailye will continue to develop and grow TFF for the benefit of its members and customers. Jake Withecombe has a number of other business interests and will be pursuing those other opportunities

Couldn't find a picture of an open top RR with the benevolent leader waving serenely at the peasants as he gets driven up and down the aisles at cereals. so the above will have to do........

DB's (Daft Buggers) are welcome to join. If they drive a Ford, the annual subscription of buying me a pint at the Cereals event Beer tent is waived.

Edit: Anybody known to own, drive or admire David Brown tractors will be Blacklisted!
Fendt owners will be shot!

I own, still use (drive) and admire a 1410 still so I am doubly knackered then. Phew - will leave some time left to live a real life:)

Being a foreigner he might not have been let on, I tried to get people on there and the owner said he didn't want too many foreigners.
It seems pretty lifeless by comparison to this fine establishment
would probably be similar if they tried a NZ farmers forum  it has to be good to get the kids off FaceBlerk (and most of the older generation are still terrified of computers)
So how does "owning" a forum work, anyway? I have thought about what that means, and don't really get how it works ?

I drastically prefer forum surfing to FB, and it's not because of anonymity or moderation

Yeah I struggle with FB groups and such, forums make more sense in my head to navigate.

It's the people :oops::rolleyes:
I have friends on here that are now FB friends, but I wouldn't subject TFF to most of the wombles that have added me on FB over the years...:banhappy::banghead: plus I find the issues on here far more relevant and interesting than all the ball ache on my news feed!!

Must say FB has good points, I really miss knowing what you have had for breakfast together with pictures,

NOT!!!
Facebook is what you make of it. You choose what you want to see or follow. I have a "friend" who was extremely political during the election. A couple of clicks and he is "unfollowed'. Simple!
Getting to be a big place for selling and buying.
I don't have a problem with it.
