Our Workshop Manager is cycling the length of the Country for two worthy causes in September

The daughter of nephew did that route with her boy friend a couple of years ago. Both are physiotherapists and now married. The mere thought makes me want to sit down and have a rest.

Fair play . I tried to find him on Strava so I could follow him but no luck
I know cyclist get a lot of jip on here but it really is the pill for a healthy life , when you think 15 years ago I was half dead and I feal great now ,cycling up 1000 ft hills and over 100 miles a week ,

My mate is riding for two charities (Air Ambulance and the blood bikes he volunteers for) from Lands End to John O'Groats and I'd like to make some banners from me for the finish line

100 mile a day . Thats one hell of a pull , how old is he

I'm sure a few people on here will know Robbie Mitchell, who is an engineer for Thorburns of Duns.
At the beginning of June he broke the North Coast 500 record, by cycling the 516 mile route in 29 hours 5 minutes 42 seconds non stop, an absolutely awe inspiring achievement. Not bad for a 40 year old 'veteran' racer !
