Cheap 4x4 suggestions

I’m needing a cheap old 4x4 to use around the farm for taking diesel about and collecting parts etc.

It can be really scruffy but would need an MOT so I can take it on the road occasionally.

It would probably spend 6 months of the year doing nothing, so only looking to spend around £750.

Would an old Freelander be a good option? Other suggestions are welcome

eBay or local auctions. At that price range it really won’t matter what you buy as long as it’s got a decent length of MOT on it.

if anything major goes wrong it’s scrap it an buy another. Disposable motoring?

after all it’s only about 2 months worth of payments on shiny paint so if it lasts longer your gaining!

That Tata thing looks crap.. Rotten all round the edges... Bet underneaths a gem.

When they came out they were in the Royal Welsh. Sales woman thought it was the beesknees and we agreed and sounded interested until the beer stopped coming.

Kia sorrento, great at pulling trailor and very nice to drive, watch for cross member rusting, but pretty cheap to buy, the best motor lv ever pulled the ifor Williams with, doesn't know it there with 50 lmbs in it.

So a Grand Cherokee ZJ with a sticking box.. Fix the Box it'll sell for more as an Orvis.. Could just need a flush and a sensor. And a P38 with Air Suspension issues and no MOT. Both Bobby Dazzlers
