I was at a farm sale last week done by Stephensons , commission was 1•5% , blimming Southerners coming up here & charging 3% .
The dealers will happily pay the 3% then stick another 30% on top and sell it to the farmers who were too tight to go to the sale in the first place
Bloody criminal never mind psychological! Are you sure you're from Yorkshire? It's counterproductive to me, with buyers commission you decide what you want to pay and then knock the 3% off and bid that. Then QF out bids you anyway. Then it ends up on somebody else's website. It's a psychological thing , after all it's only £30 for each £1,000 spent .
Not difficult to follow tractors round the country. Sale in Cambs featured in CT mag, a Case 844 with 10,000hrs made £5600. Last month it surfaced at Robsons and the digital hour clock had mysteriously stopped working, £8500 being asked. 2 weeks ago it moved to Wilberfoss, price gone up to £8800. It's entered in murton next week, will probably be knocked down to TRAC14 for about the original sale price.Bloody criminal never mind psychological! Are you sure you're from Yorkshire? Agree it is criminal but unfortunately it's the way things are going so I suppose we'll just have to grin & bare it .

I was there. Was watching this on I bidder at dinner time and thought the maxxums made good money, didn't look like there were many bargains to be had
"Good"I was there.
The vendor's neighbours and locals were in attendance to make sure everything made a good price.
There was little to divvy up afterwards around a bale trailer.
Did you buy any (more) tyres for the collection?I know of only one bargain, which I wouldn't have known what it was.
But that's gone to a good home.
I'll be watching for another one......
No, purposely stood away from the dual wheels.Did you buy any (more) tyres for the collection?
