Have a claas ares 557 atz , started losing power on road and at farm, stop and start her and would clear itself for about 10 minutes or so. Had her on a log splitter last night, sat for 2 hours and was perfect. Wandered if anyone has had this problem, wandered if it could be throttle potensiometer? Or ecu or injection pump?

Perhaps change the fuel filters first? Could be bio-diesel sludge in the filters allowing enough fuel through for low revs but not enough when you open the throttle up?

I had the same thing on a nasty Bedford Brava pickup i was forced to use

That would drive for half a mile then die .After new filters and a back blow up the fuel line it still did it .Turned out to be a little filter in the input pipe to the main filter it was in the banjo i recall
