Claas Arion 640 Alternator

Think the alternator is on the blink, putting the charge light on intermittently, pretty sure it’s the original and has 12k hours on it so that’s ok. Where do you go to source a replacement? … Claas dealer nearby , looking for a reasonable alternative.

Are there any places to get them rebuilt. Local business here will re bearing fir 50$ if it’s working ok just rattling. Full rebuild and warranty for 150$.

Probably needs new contact brushes, just a £20 quick fix ..
