Banana is my neighbour he can come and look. We got the convio because it was cheaper and more compatible. I believe macdons are very good though. I just didn’t want a different header to the combine
Surely then the answer is for Banana to get the wider, more expensive one than you have?
That’s a good point. Then I will have to spend more money to out compete him.

Did I see on twitter that you have a second child on the way? In which case the dimensions of your willy are no longer of any consequence, stripper or no stripper, sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I wouldn’t limit yourself to trying just those two, there are more flexi drapers to choose from than just those. Personally I like the look of the Honeybee Air flex and there’s plenty of reviews that rate them higher than a McDon although to be fair I think McDon have made some recent improvements. Also don’t forget the Geringhoff, it’s got some very useful features such as a three piece reel ( so you’re not looking at the reel support in the centre of the feeder house ) and an option of having an air blast from the knife to blow seeds up onto the Draper, particularly useful if you decide to be the soya bean king or want to grow mega acres of rape.

Linseed is kindling for a twin rotary, convio can cut it well though but it’s over ripe for strippernOr linseed is the kindling for the stripper header...

Had Macdon on demo in flat peas. 1st day going 90% faster, second day went 2 hours longer in evening. Wish I had had it in flat winter barley.
