Surely then the answer is for Banana to get the wide r, more expensive one than you have?

Looking to next year. Comments on both of the above at 12 metres would be welcome. Both are coming on demo this season.

I wouldn’t limit yourself to trying just those two, there are more flexi drapers to choose from than just those. Personally I like the look of the Honeybee Air flex and there’s plenty of reviews that rate them higher than a McDon although to be fair I think McDon have made some recent improvements. Also don’t forget the Geringhoff, it’s got some very useful features such as a three piece reel ( so you’re not looking at the reel support in the centre of the feeder house ) and an option of having an air blast from the knife to blow seeds up onto the Draper, particularly useful if you decide to be the soya bean king or want to grow mega acres of rape.

I was sent a video of a Geringhoff the other day, 45ft I think on an Ideal 10T doing a lovely job!

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
