Claas dominant conventional baler

Hi, I’ve been offered a decent looking Claas dominant, it’s supposed to of been set up and is ready to go, it manually trips and knots well, it’s only for 10 or so acres a year and is sensibly priced, are these balers any good, anything specific to watch out for? We’ve had a fair few conventionals over the years but never had anything to do with a dominant. Thanks for any inputs!

Hi, did you buy that claas dominant baler as I'm thinking of getting one but know nothing about them and was wondering did you go for it?

They were an outstanding baler when they were new - with massive output..
Only one thing to remember- they got their increased capacity by being made with a 16 inch bale chamber rather than your conventional 14 inch chamber on all other balers made at that time ..
Great for output but no ideal if your selling you hay or straw by the bale
2 inches extra on ever row of bales on a trailer
