claas mower lift restrictor valve

where is the valve to slow the rate of drop?
i get into bother turning blades
ihad to open the fittings at the ram and tractor end oil lead
now the mower drops like a stone
rather than its sedate rate
dealer cant see any restrictor on the computer
disco 260 btw

had same trouble with JF pipe burst, took it off . lost restrictor that i did not know was in fitting ,dropped like a stone, got one from JF . but any one will do ,has a really small hole

They’re usually on other mowers just a very small discnwith roughly 1mm hole in the ram inlet fitting that the metric fitting when screwed in keep it tight in place, very easy to loose unfortunatel. Remove the pioe into ram to look what’s there.

I’ve made some when stuck by brazing a mig welder 1mm tip into a male male fitting usually between the male quicke release and pipe.

The restrictor is usually in the Tee piece by the unfolding ram.held in by the hydraulic pipe union that feeds it
It looks like this as it just so happens I have one on my desk.

This one is aprox 10mm across and has a 0.8 mm hole in it.

Be aware if you don't clean your couplings it can get blocked with dirt and very easy to loose 😀
