Hi guys, looking at buying a claas rollant 46 wide pickup and was wondering what everyone thought of it. TIA

It wanted to be a later one with the heavy duty chains, it would be nice if the pickup side auger bearing mounting points had already been reinforced too.
They are a good farmer's baler, fairly idiot proof that you can pretty much sit anyone with some aptitude for tractoring on and let them go and bale.
You won't make the heaviest bales, but that won't matter for hay at all.
We have had one for years, many times more user friendly than the JD550 it replaced.
Mrs usually does the baling with it, that is how confident I am that it will be trouble free most of the time.
If you are only going to bale hundreds of bales of straw to stand outside, perhaps buy something else.
