Claas scorpion 7030 spool problem

Got a 2009 claas scorpion 7030 with a front spool problem. The telehandler has 2 different spools fitted on the headstock, but only normally one gets used but the using it today and the spool stopped and only now one working and not swapping over with the spool valve. I took the electrical connections apart and found one wire to be off so put it back where I thought and works. The only issue is now, when you turn the headlights on it stops the spool working again, obviously taking the power. Any ideas appreciated??
