So will any near 400hp tractor! 8370 will happily munch it's 600litre tank in 10 hrs that is also 12ton with no weights. The C9 will burn oil but never found one excessive (challengers) but they lug like nothing else. It what way don't they talk as when tried I thought was great as it was low reving rather then reving at 1900 to get anywhere. This isn't a pick just tried a few and loved them and looked closely at them as a big one as was very impressed only beaten in my mind by tracks or 939 for versatility. So interested in a longer term and not rosey eyed viewDo not buy one. Engine doe not communicate with transmission burn oil when working hard wll drink 700litres of diesel a day weighs 12ton before anything added on just my opinion after driving one for the last year.
They just seem underrateddeethedraw
"Do not buy one. Engine doe not communicate with transmission"
After driving one for 12 months you would assume you would have learn't to set it up properly ? aparently not !!
I am out of Ag now but did over 25,000 hours on several Xerions from the 033 and the 781 series in my time
Never had that problem .
"burn oil when working hard"
Never saw that problem aswell, CAT C9 was a cracking motor even with the HUEI injection system although I must admit the T2 engines were much better than the T3's especially the CLY built engines , never trusted the MBD engines !!!
"when working hard wll drink 700litres of diesel a day"
They only had a 612 ltr diesel tank ,so you tanked up and used 78 ltrs before knocking off ? It all comes back to understanding the machine and seting it up correctly , Yes the xerion will burn diesel but it's what you get for your diesel that counts .

C9 motor bullet proof if it's been looked after Eccom 3.5 transmission like wise bullet proof if been serviced correctly they are pretty well indestructable .
What you looking at ? If it's a VC model and from europe give it a good look over us sh!t boys are a bit unforgiving at times !!! anything in particular you want to know send me a PM .

How do compare to a 939 on a drillSo will any near 400hp tractor! 8370 will happily munch it's 600litre tank in 10 hrs that is also 12ton with no weights. I only had one briefly on cultivations and for that it leaves a 939 standing but on a drill I'd would probably choose 939 as far more nimble and over 1.3t lighter but xerion I tried was on 800's but I think it wasn't to bad for its sizeHow do compare to a 939 on a drill
Does length make them more awkward or do they have a tight turning circle
What's turning circle like on 800sI only had one briefly on cultivations and for that it leaves a 939 standing but on a drill I'd would probably choose 939 as far more nimble and over 1.3t lighter but xerion I tried was on 800's but I think it wasn't to bad for its size
Could get 6m topdown back round on itself just in a 22m headland every other run and be 16-18mWhat's turning circle like on 800s

Do they still make these smaller xerions? I would love to see one on tracks
