TBH, I don't think it had the correct rate adjuster. I had the feeling the previous owner bodged up their own system so it worked with hydraulic shut off.

Aaah, trailed Vicon 35cwt (30 of Nitram) behind DB 780 on extended drawbar and with what seemed like massive balloon tyres, now that was Low Ground Pressure - 3rd low gear @ low PTO 540 would go where you wouldn't want to be walking.

Used to fill it by tipping 50 kg bags into a Fyson rubber belt elevator b4 forklift or hydraulic bucket days [emoji848]

Would still be efficient kit for a grass farmer nowadays total weight of complete rig INCLUDING fertiliser less than 3.5 tonnes and using less than 200ml of diesel per acre and no need to add counterbalance weights ( which are ridiculous when you think about it in an LGP situation [emoji15])
