7600 wasn't that smart tbh. It went as he wanted something more modern really. Having a 1000 pto is a big advantage.

Here we are rowing hay with my 1972 165 and haybob 380 lovely stuff but not as many bales as I was hoping for. Was then baled with 1983 MF124 baler was going to use 165 but found the temptation of air con in 27 degree hot too tempting

Was in a dealers about 20 years ago lifting a 2nd mower when a nice looking one drove in, said to the salesman that would be better for a farmer than a trailed outfit & he said it's dead on till you have to go to our parts counter as parts for them are a fortune.

Yes but you try not to go to a claas dealer lol
i ran both and recon self propelled cheaper per acre yes parts more money but last years longer once blades and barred it will last a farmer a few years unlike a drag
