Hi my Clayton 4105 with knight sprayer has for the last 3 years I have had it been faultless with the steering. Sprayed a field last week then yesterday started it and no 4 wheel steer. It self centres for front wheel steering on road. But when I put it in to 4 wheel steer nothing happened then tried it in crab steer and it kind of worked 1 way but wouldn't straighten up. Put it back to 2 wheel steer and it self centred.
Before I start pulling apart. Where should I first look

Potentiometer on axles?

One of ours gave up a few years back. Suspect water got in when I was pressure washing.

Now have plastic "lids"on ours made from 1 litre plastic containers.

Yep I’d guess potentiometers. On my Multidrive on top of the axle rhs.
Malcolm Carter at Multispares might be able to help with parts. He’s brilliant with my Multidrive.

Which sprayer ? We had one with a Knight on and the steering system was knight not Clayton and was a finicky thing !!
As KB6930 said some Clayton’s sold as knight crusaders have their own steering control system produced by knight which seems more complex Clayton’s own system. I have one of each

I can tell you its more than a little bit scary when the back axle goes in to crab mode at 40k 😨
There are also diodes under the control panel (in the side door ) and the switch itself can go wrong
Had to fit an isolator after the above incident

Always put ours in 2ws on the road

I don't have anything to do with Claytons now , but it was supposed to be in 2ws when it cribbed,
Very lucky where it happened that it stayed on its wheels
I fitted an isolator switch after that
