How
Does that mean you can use it with SOH1?

Latest version of CNUM3 indicates not.....

which concurs with the latest version of SO1

Looks like you do have to provide cover during a winter as well as spring summer. So Autumn establishment would be fine but its going to be an option for spring establishment after a failed autumn crop. For that it is SO2 or SO3 and they are a bit pants in comparison.

That's good news (if only it demonstrates some form of common sense perhaps?) but at £ 593 /ha. it still doesn't seem to add up against extended over winter stubbles paying £ 589 /ha.
or am I missing something?

The potential for your extended OWS to end up a sad, mess of a field which after being made stale by blanket roundup on May 16th, then grows the champion crop of that bloody weed I cant remember the name of that grows on bare land. Small balls of white downy seeds. That an rosebay willowherb. You will be the one wafting seeds over your neighbours fields.

A weed seed bank perhaps? take all carry over? By 31st July I would have a wall of willowherb, mayweed and wildoats, 3 generations of groundsel plus a take all carry over in the volunteers plus in some fields a carpet of grass weeds. No you can keep that one thanks. Have enough problems with such like without doing so voluntarily.
