Offered £225 for feed barley. Fair old chunk of this years dosh is going to fund next years fert at £800. Is it worth it ?
Options.......
Fallow
Beans
Accept it and hope grain prices rise again......... IE, fall for it a second year running......
Dont buy fert and leave fallow, slowly release this harvest over 2 years at min £300, you will find not buying fuel, seed, chemicals, etc that you are soon better off.

Exactly what I’ve done
Signed up before this sh!t storm for css and using lots of OWS which pays £200~ for doing nowt !!!
Back to wheat

No way I’m playing the roulette wheel with fert and chemical and rent! on marginal crops!!

We all might as well bugger off to Vegas with remainder of SFP cheque and choose black or red !
