You must mean US spring wheat (only 35% rated excellent), winter wheat harvest is in the final stages now with some pretty good yields.

You ever tried dealing with an arable farmer? I prefer dealing with the merchantsCan't you buy some locally , save a tenner in haulage.
. Please don't tar us all with the same brush. If I was down the road and had 100t of barley I would be straight round at £126.......You ever tried dealing with an arable farmer? I prefer dealing with the merchants
I've a foot in both camps and would much rather sell feed to a livestock farmer than merchant. Never any issues with deductions etc for feed from a farmer.. Please don't tar us all with the same brush. If I was down the road and had 100t of barley I would be straight round at £126.......
Yea but most arable farmers don't see it like that...they want the earthI've a foot in both camps and would much rather sell feed to a livestock farmer than merchant. Never any issues with deductions etc for feed from a farmer.
The feeling's mutual. You ever tried dealing with an arable farmer? I prefer dealing with the merchants
I'm with @Chae1 . rather sell farmer to farmer. Would probably be a fair bit below £126 too if you were a nice chapYea but most arable farmers don't see it like that...they want the earth
Where do you get weighed for £2.50?!The feeling's mutual.
Every harvest the livestock boys turn up wanting it " off the field ", or cheap in other words. Then they get wind you're not going to bother with Red Tractor insurance, so want another £20/ T off. After you load their trailer they decide they ain't going to bother making the trip to the weighbridge. After a few choice words they do make the trip to the weighbridge, but don't want to pay £2.50 for the ticket.....

I'm very nice always pay straight after collection and would rather have a weigh ticket with every load so there's no argumentsI'm with @Chae1 . rather sell farmer to farmer. Would probably be a fair bit below £126 too if you were a nice chap
£5 round hereCheap weighbridges you way , £7 here
£2.50 is just for the printed ticket. After much kerfuffle, I just tell um to take a pic of the screen with their phones.....saves £2.50...Cheap weighbridges you way , £7 here
Don't think they're 100% accurate...could be wrongJust use weigher on lorry here.
Nothing as long as it's my favourWhat's a few kg between friends?
