Is that up much since the election announcement?
That's more like it a £20 premium that was done some time ago!Milling wheat at a guess, £148 base plus £20 premium?

Completely agree, hard to come by now! Have you fixed anything up for next season?off course it was - who on earth would grow milling wheat without setting a none minimum default premium before you stick it in the ground ?

Have you heard anything of Min premiums for 18 season? Can not see the G1 area going down.no re forward sales for next season yet thankfully other than my milling premium again
pretty much cleared out 2016 harvest now though
OSR averaged £388.85 and wheat £155.90 should be just a couple more loads of wheat to clear up at the end

no one offered me 2018 yet
although a lot more gp1 is being grown I'm told a lot is not really making milling as feed wheat growers don't understand how to grow a miller properly

You obviously are not a gambler as you fore saw brexit and sterling droping and not only that you got milling premiums right( I got everything else right I.e. Milling premiums and locking into but I was sure we would stay)
Please please lord let the queen knight SirClive the Forsight clever barsteward...........only joking
Unfortunately for milling premiums most people hit spec this year some without even trying too hard, even those used to growing feed, so now they think it's easy......, it will be different another year........
This is what we found, years ago, on our heavy Northern clay. Hence we would hit the spec on a good year, but so would everyone else so premiums would be low. Had offers of £3.00 premiums for biscuit wheat before but IMHO it nowhere near compensates for the risk of rejection.Unfortunately for milling premiums most people hit spec this year some without even trying too hard, even those used to growing feed, so now they think it's easy......, it will be different another year........
Any view on the massive gap between old and new crop ie which way will it close up?
why do you expect prices to rise so much? world stocks are still very highi reckon I will quite possibly see £200 for milling wheat new crop before harvest 2018
No way I would sell a grain forward just now
