Yes I’m frustrated with myself for not selling my last 4 loads now last week. Sold 1 for £315 June, merchant who I do respect his views said he couldn’t see it falling much. Hopefully it’s just a short term fall.Maybe £275?

Not sure the logic of that can work on a macro scale. If you sell high and then re-buy low you are just going to re-bound the price to an equilbrium, although certainly can work if only a few are doing it.Yes but i would probably bet the investment houses are cashing in their positions to actually make some money but also buying some at the same time for when the next rally comes along too make more for the future.

Reading a financial times article, the export from odesa is reliant on sanctions being lifted for Russia to allow it.
Can't see that happening anytime soon.
Nor can I see it being shifted across country realistically.
Perhaps if the railroads we're all compatible it could have been done, but at a pretty huge logistical cost.
As it stands it must require movement across Ukraine then unloading and reloading onto other train wagons for the onwards journey into Europe.
But it's still got to get to a port to ship to the black seas usual customer base.
I feel it's being driven by investment houses, same as oil was/is, and a fair few are cashing their positions currently (probably well bought and making big ££££).
Sad , serious question, would targeting combine harvesters, grain trucks and grain stores be possibly classed as a war crime??I was meaning other western brands too.
If it is possible, it would be a great bargining chip, If russia does anything evil like interfering with the Ukraine harvest.
