Having a small issue with my meters at home nothing serious but EDF are confusing electric and gas meters
finally get through to a helpful girl, who tells me the problem is the accounts need merging.
I told her I knew, as this was the 4th time I had tried to get it sorted with the same response!
She said she would raise a complaint and gave me a reference number:-
626006039
I said , that is a lot of complaints , yes she said!

Perhaps this is a thing with EDF - I have similar . I'm on Dual- fuel via the NFU buying scheme . I need to pay my electric bill through the farm account , and the gas bill from my private account , Simple ? Not to EDF when they're trying to convert me to smart meters , they've variously told me the meters are registered to a different address- they aren't , the meters are too far apart , one's inside the cellar , one on the outer wall , but the fitter says they won't talk to each other , I say they don't need to as they're on separate accounts , and one memorable fitter after getting lost three times on the farm lane and finishing up on the edge of the moor , came finally to the door and he was so spaced out , I judged him unfit to be even driving let alone frigging with my electricity supply . Not impressed at all . And also , whilst I might be being unfair to the NFU at Stoneleigh , I don't think they have any follow up once they've allotted you to EDF . Not impressed with the NFU either .

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
