Using a 36% protein blend of Soya, wheat distillers and rape meal.
I think it is 1/3 of each in the blend, would that make 36%?
Paying £267 in 6t drops, how far out is this price?
@Gilchro how much am i having my leg lifted?

Not by much if any...pretty good price for the product in that size of drop I'd say

Not in your area. But here they are quoting about 240-250 a tonne for 18% ewe nuts in 25kg bags delivered for loads of 3-4 tonne. Looking at 20 odd mile delivery distance from yards

That was in tote bags but it wont be much more in bags ive had both and the price is never much different really give them a phone they have all the prices infront of them and tell them u have had a quote from davidsons or carrs and they will give you a better deal to keep the business in the borders.

Down here the price is about 20-30 pound more for bagged over the totes. I have just bought 3 tonne in tote bags for 205. The same in 25kilo plastic bags was £238

i think i would be giving them a phone call , be polite dont loose the head and explain that you feel that have had your leg lifted and ask for some discount . if you dont ask you dont get and you can shop else where next time .

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
