Yes feeding it now, ewes doing well on it and milking well. I buy 1T at a time in totes, 375/t.
It would be 353 if i ordered 4t+ Bulk. I mix around 80/20 oats soya with minerals and molasses

8t hypro soya in bulk, £302/t. Price can be locked into for six months. (On same day I sold OSR spot for £308.50/t)
Shocked by the price, I've been buying it in totes for last few months for £353/t

Full artic loads? Haven't got one to hand but FG was listing new season British about £148/t assume that averages out the different specs, but there is only £3/t between supaflow and maxibeet.
I picked a load up out of local feed store last week and paid more than £159, I will check later and let you know

I think new season only starts delivering in the next week, so yours would be old season and hence higher price. Just had the same quote form another firm. can get that price flat rate right through. Great feed, just too dam dear this last few years.

It’s a local farmer who sells blends for Armstrong Richardson’s
A year or two ago, there was a farming family selling feed, mixing their own.Big grain growers, and said they bought store cattle and lambs to fatten out of Hexham. They advertised in the Darlington paper, but were maybe south from you.Northallerton or Thirsk area i think. It was interesting talking to him,he said there were some ingredients they would never use for fattening like oatfeed/wheatfeed etc,and explained the difference between the big compounders manufacturing down to a certain price/spec,and themselves only using raw ingredients that would do the job properly.

Any prices about for sheep cake? 19 & 20%

I had 5t of 19% ewe rolls delivered in bulk last week, ready to start trickling into the early lambers. £6/t up on last year IIRC (I’ll have to check the ticket for the price, as memory is failing at this time of night).

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
